Question by hazardxxo: 3 years ago my boyfriend cheated on me, now he’s back?
We just started talking again in December ’08. He wanted to apologize to me, he has before, but he’s much different now. We were a mere 16 and 17 yrs old at the time it happened. He cheated on me with this girl that seemed to be everywhere we were. Me and this boy were literally “high school sweethearts”. We were together almost 2 years, but towards the end we seemed to keep fighting and one day he told me he cheated on me with this girl. I had to break up with him for that. But seeing him now, I still love him, remember i’m not the one that “left” him. My dad really disapproves of him because what he did 3 years ago. But he doesn’t know him now. He’s different and he’s learned from the big mistake he’s made. He’s really interested in being with me again, and I feel I can trust him now. I feel we’ve been destined for each other. But my dad is somewhat influencing what I do. I don’t know if I should listen to him! What should I do?? thanks.

“I feel like I can trust him now,” that’s all you need to know. Just be more careful this time and maybe talk out your fights more.
