My latest as of right now. I must say, this is my most favorite of mine so far. This one has the most emotion, the most meaning, and the kick-ass Starlights. My boyfriend left me high and dry last week. I won’t get into personal business, but it was ugly. Single Ladies was, ironically, one of the few songs we enjoyed together. In more ways than one, this video is dedicated to him; Our history with the song, and the fact that it’s a single person’s anthem. (I use person as I am a guy) Point: I’m getting over a breakup, and the Sailor Senshi (Starlights included!) all gather up to help me feel better. But wait… What’s this? Even the EVIL Single Ladies need to speak their mind! Hey, evil people need love, too… Over the course of the song, Sailor Moon realizes that she didn’t get much singing time, so she sings the entire bridge. Then she asks the Starlights for backup in a stunning finale. This is meant to be a wonderful ‘fuck you’ to my ex. For breaking up with me for really no clear reason. Thank you, [insert random name here]. Also, this is made for all you other Single People getting over something. Lord knows we all get sick of those others with others. (not that I’m hating… maybe) Sailor Moon belongs to Naoko Takeuchi. Single Ladies belongs to Beyonce. About You Now belongs to Sugababes.
