on the weekends and stuff? I am going to miss him so much, and ugh i just need all the information I can get.
yeah basic training, and we both have cell phones. well does anyone know if in AIT he can talk more than basic, he told me he thinks he might be able to talk on the weekends all the time.
So did he just leave for basic I take it?
It will depend on his command. Usually they get a phone call upon arrival and might be able to call on Sundays. Don’t expect a call longer than 5 minutes give or take.
Once he is at OSUT or AIT he might be able to make more calls.

You probably wont hear from him for like 2 weeks then he can call you every Sunday, if he is willing to wait in a line for an hour.
He can write you every day.
not much. you can only send him mail but that will be held off until the end of the month. So even though you send it with like next day shipment he won’t get it till the end of the month.
Hardly at all if he’s going to basic. But I’ve also heard that they are starting to become more lax on the rules concerning trainees. Just be prepared to only be able to write him until he’s in his last week or two.
If he just left for Basic Training, then he will call you when he has time to…
Otherwise, Hes only going to be gone 1 weekend a month, and 2 weeks out of the year… If you have that much seperation anxiety, then I suggest the two of you get cell phones…
