I think my boyfriend is thinking about asking me for my hand in marriage. I whole heartedly want to marry him.. however I want it so bad that I want to ask him because if it doesn’t happen i don’t want to be disappointed. Should I mention anything about it in my letters to him?

let him bring it up first… if he’s really not ready bringing up the M word will scare him away

you’ve got some dilemmas here… although you have the guy you love that you want to be with.. you will also realize that RIGHT AFTER basic, if he is or gets married, he will get a bonus marriage pay.. he will get that much extra just for being married..
so you got to realize and think about… is he wanting to ask you for YOU, or for the extra money…???

When you REALLY know a person -and love, trust and respect them- then you DREAM about being married to them; you want more than most anything to make that commitment… and you defiantly commitment more than you want freedom.
So I would say that if you both feel the same about each other, the M topic should be a positive one for you both!
