We havent been together over two years, and i have moved on after all he left me. I am in a serious relationship and have been for two years and even before i dated my ex. I still have feelings for him, but i dont know if it would be right for me to write to him…he hasnt even wanted to talk to me since he broke up with me and now he does im not sure what to do. any comments?
My guess is you were the last real thing he had. That is what those guys do when they enlist, hang on to someone. Clearly they get in their head that if they go to war they may not come back so they start thinking about leaving a family behind. I wouldn’t write him. Gives him false hope.
