Question by Rere Isa: Should my friend be mad at me for this?
My friend put “25 days left” with a lot of hearts around it for her facebook status. My mom is friends with her on facebook so she saw it and asked me who it was for and i said it was for her friend. My moms reply was “for her friend or boyfriend” and i said “friend” and my mom was like “yeah you said friend while laughing” meaning that she figured out it was for her “boyfriend” which it really is.
my friend got mad at me because my mom figured out it was for her “boyfriend” and i didn’t want to lie to my mom and say something else! there was nothing i really could say! my friend also said that i should have “used my brain” to think of something better!
and i told her i didn’t want to lie cause its bad and especially cause it was my mom. shes now mad at me for what i told my mom! should she be or is she over reacting?

over reacting if u didn’t want to lie you couldn’t have helped it && i’m guessing she didn’t get in trouble w/ your mom it shouldn’t be a problem also if she going out with some one & she’s allowed to date i don’t see why it is such a big deal

no she shouldn’t be mad because its your friends fault. if she didn’t want people to know she shouldn’t have posted it in the first place. you’re right and she’s wrong but (and being a total nerd here and quoting Harry Potter) “its easier to forgive people for being wrong than it is to forgive them for being right” or something like that XD
i think that your friend is over reacting. cuz you shouldn’t to lie to your mother.
No. If your friend didn’t want that info to be known, she shouldn’t have put it on facebook for everyone to see. It’s not like people can’t figure out what the hearts mean
