I know how you feel, sweety. My bf left for Air Force pilot school for ten MONTHS and we didn’t see each other at all. You need to stay busy with school and your friends and family. Sounds like he has the opportunity of a lifetime to visit Greece and you need to appreciate that! He doesn’t want you to cry and pine for him. You need to do fun things while he’s away so you will have stuff to tell him! The time will pass very quickly if you decide you are going to stay busy and happy!

Um – develop a sense of perspective? Really, I’m sorry – I don’t mean to sound dismissive, but why are you so gawd-awful dependent and clingy? People manage w their SO’s in the service, travelling – and you are carrying on because of a trip that is a little more than two WEEKS?
If you have something else going on in your life other than a boyfriend to cling onto, then you can find other things to occupy yourself. It’s just not that big a deal. Yeah, okay, miss him – fine. But crying constantly? Really, please, get a grip.
