Question by Mizz_hall_of_streets: Part of my story about the Titanic?
Okay its based on Titanic about a father and his child.Am just gonna skip to the sinking. Its if your reading it in the fathers Point of View.

As I looked around me I saw women and children entering one by one on boats and their husbands and fathers facing them with tears in their eyes, as they knew what was going to happen to them. I looked at my child her face as Beautiful as her mother once. I knew what I had to do and that was to save the only flesh and blood I had left.
“Listen Maddie” I said looking at the little girl in my hands.
“What Pappa” she said looking up it was hard to believe that I hadn’t started to cry yet .”
“That man over there” I said pointing to one of the crew members “is going to put you on a boat, he’s not gonna hurt you okay.” I looked down at her shocked to realize she knew what was happening since she was only five years old.

that’s just part of it. I think its rubbish but what do you this guys??

”
“Pappa” She said crying “stay with me please”.
Thats when the tears began to start. As long as my baby was safe thats all I wanted. I kissed her and wispered in her ear “No matter what happens I’ll always be with you”. One of the crews member came over and ask something but I couldn’t hear, I couldn’t speak so I just handed her over and watched with tears my little girl being but on the life boat.As the boat began to drop she started screaming pappa. Then after five minutes of crying the boat landed on to the sea and sailed off with the rest.
“My baby girl” I wispered to myself crying harder.I Looked around once again at people crying and running and I was one of them I was going down with the ship either way.
Am 15 just to say. =)

Question by Mom to one cute boy!: Been feeling depressed…Tips on how to help myself?
3 weeks ago I lost my job.
I’ve never been fired it was hard but I thought I got over it which just might have brought out this depression.
I’ve suffered with depression almost my whole life: 4 years ago I finally go to a point I could go off medication.
Life has been OK and I’m glad I hadn’t been depressed.
This last week has been HORRIBLE! I am always in a sore mood, cry at a drop of a hat. I can’t get myself to do anything.
I got married 10months ago and I’m keeping my pain away from my husband. Why? because hes so amazing and I’m so lucky to have the kind of love and support we have that I just have no reason to be depressed.
What are some tips I can do to get over this? My mind is in a cloud so I don’t remember things I did in the past to get over it, i think it just finally “left”
Anything please!
Yeah he’s really supportive but I just feel like there’s no reason to be depressed.
He’ll understand: he’s been there in the past too.
I’ll tell him.

Best answer:

Question by Daniela (Poppy’s Mama): 11 month old grinding her teeth?
My Husband has been saying for a while now “those teeth have to last her a while, if she keeps grinding at that rate, they’ll be nothing left” and I have always laughed him off, telling him that ALL babies grind their teeth and much like other things they learn, she’ll soon stop doing it and start doing something else. However, she really is REALLY grinding her teeth – in fact unless she has something in her mouth (dummy, bottle, food, a toy) she is pretty much grinding them the entire time she is awake. She has 6 teeth, 2 at the bottom and her top 4 and although I can’t see any signs of her teeth grinding down, her grinding is intense. Not to mention the sound makes my hair stand up on end like fingernails on a chalkboard.

I’m sure it’s normal but seriously, anyone else experienced this? Anything I should be worried about?

Best answer:

Answer by Capri
HaHa! My daughter does the exact same thing! How funny! The noise is horrible, and I just divert her attention to something else when she starts doing it for both of our well beings. It is their way of exploring their newfound teeth, and figuring out noises. If she see’s she is getting a reaction out of you she will most likely keep it up. I would try ignoring the grinding and divert her attention to something much more interesting. The possibilities are endless at that age!

Question by redpeach_mi: How do I get my things back from my ex?
Ok, my soon to be ex husband does online college. When I took the kids and left, I was nice enough to leave the computer, that my parents got us for Christmas a few years ago, so he wouldn’t get behind. When he finally realized that I wasn’t coming back and would be taking the computer when I moved all my things, he got a new one. He owed me $ 200 for a bill for over 2 months and never paid me, so I just took the money out of our joint checking and called it good. He is keeping the computer for ransome now! He said he’s not giving it back until I give him the money! I asked him today when he was going to give it back and he told me that I “took it when I left” and that he doesn’t know what I’m talking about. Do I just call the cops and report it stolen and that he has it or what in the hell do I do!? Any suggestions? I really don’t want to have to call the cops, but at this point, I could really care less. Thanks all.
He has changed the locks and I can’t get in when he’s not there.
We are fighting over $ 200 because he isn’t helping me take care of the children at all! Not one cent. I need the money! I know it doesn’t sound like a lot of money to anoyone else, but it is to me.

Question by ummhidaya: wrong to ask for an AC?
salamalikom
it is in the 90′s here in boston these past few days. i have been complaining of how hot is it inside my house with no AC. we have fans running but it just blows the heat around.
i went to my friends house yesterday who has an AC and it was wonderful my children felt much better and so did i. well i came home and back to the scorching hot apartment. today it is so hot i have a huge rash on my neck that burns very bad. i complained again of the heat in the house and why we cant get an AC. my husband says summer is over why do we need to buy an AC? then i got a lecture about how hot hell fire is and i should be worried about reading and studying islam and worrying about mistakes i am making. i said all i mentioned was it is so hot and all my friends have AC’s with no problem. he said well i would rather live as a poor person there are so many people with no food and we complain about not having an AC. he said “you change when you go out with people, and he left.” is it wrong to ask for an AC? he said we dont have money to buy one to only use for a few months. it is better to be patient. i told him i just do not want to have any friends because i like what they have and come home hoping to get the same thing. (only the AC) and i get in trouble. should i just be patient and deal with it? i will not ask for an AC anymore. i would rather live with the heat rashes and sweat than to be lectured about hellfire. i am going to stop emailing my friends until tehy get the point i no longer want to meet with them. it causes so many problems. ill just dissappear from them,to avoid causing problems at home.

Question by Jacob’sWifey&TheirMommy: Anyone video taped their labor & delivery?
I’m 29 weeks tomorrow, and I’ve been wanting to video tape the birth from the get go because my husband got incarcerated while I was 9 weeks pregnant. He did something very stupid when he was a teenager. So he won’t be attending the birth our of daughter in March.

So I was wondering has anyone taped the entire deal?
I’m not sure how I want to do it.
Maybe a little when I get to the hospital and then when I push?
I just don’t want him to totally be “left” out. You know? And he really wants me to tape it too.

My mother and bestfriend are going to be in the room when I deliver. My best friend said she’d tape it for me. She’s brave lol.

**I’ve already asked, my hospital allows it.

So if anyone has taped it, can you please tell me how you did tape it? Did you split it up in parts, or the whole thing?

Any advice would help thanks. = )
PLEASE ANSWER ONLY IF YOU HAVE or know someone who has!!!

I don’t want to hear about “Ew no” or “Hell no” I’m doing it for good reason, my husband deserves to see his daughter to be born.
Great ideas, thanks TTC!!!

We have a baby girl who is 6 months, he is a Marine & can get in serious trouble with his command, & I already left the house…. We live in California, but we r from Boston. & I left 2 days after he told me what he did…. I asked another question a couple days ago where I Xplain the situation & how he did what he did!!
I went bacl home 2 months later, because he wanted to c the baby…. But I ended up back in Boston, 10 days after… He got really violent because He caught me about to purchase a plane ticket home & yanked the internet cables off the wall, Threw the computer accross the room & took My cell phone & my wallet away…. He refuses to let me go, I managed to convice him to come to Boston to talk to his parents and ask them for advice. Thats how I was able to come back to Boston… Once here I told him that I was gonna stay in Boston & that I was threw wit him!! He had no other choice but to leave, other wise he would have gotten in trouble in base!!

Answer by daffyma
To start with, I would never come back. I’ll probably have already have found myself a nice little apartment or moved back to my parents house. It would have already been decided from the second I discovered my husband cheated on me. The greatest thing is, I’ll be single again D
and I won’t have to see the idiot who cheated on me ever !

Question by pears5: Thinking of moving with my family from Massachusetts to Glendale Arizona?
My husband and I are considering moving from Mass to Az. Cost of living in Mass is just so expensive and we are tiring of the cold weather. We have three children ages 13, 12 and 10. Does anyone have any comments either positive or negative? What are the schools like? I currently work at a large University here and it provides tuition remission for my children so that would be a big benefit that we would loose but to have less of a mortgage and a mild climate would be so great! My children are very active and we are assuming that they would have more opportunities to play baseball and football due to the weather but maybe we are wrong! Lastly what is the political environment in Arizona, clearly Mass is a very democratic liberal area but we are conservative and find the atmosphere in Mass to “left” leaning for us. Thanks in advance for any comments!

Question by mtgcnv67: How can I get a medication without a prescription?
My husband and I just moved and changed jobs, and both of us are on a 3 month probation where our medical coverage doesn’t kick in until that probation is over.

I’ve been on Keppra, a prescribed medication for seizures, for the last 3 years, and it’s worked great. But without the coverage, I don’t know if I can get the prescription or a refill.

Here are all of my questions:

1) Can I place the order at a pharmacy and get the medicine without seeing a doctor? (thus saving money on the visit)

2) The bottle I’m finishing says I have 2 refills left on the bottle. Can I use that to get a refill without seeing my doctor AND…

3) …with the “2 Refills Left” on that bottle, does that mean those 2 refills are paid for already? Or would I have to pay the $ 800-something dollars I’ve noticed on the receipt? Is that cost I’ve seen on the receipt charged for every refill, or does that cost include the first order and the refills that come with them?

Best answer:

Answer by Blah B
Free Clinic?
Over the counter drugs?
Pharmacy?
These are my guesses >.<
