Question by Jen: Do you believe in the saying “Once a cheater, always a cheater?”?
If so, why? Personal expirience, or you just believe that if you’re a scum bag once, you’ll always and forever be one? Just curious about this guy thats been in my life lately.

i think it depends, some people change, but majorty of the time yes i do agree, its just part of human nature, we cannot stop looking at individuals that are more attractive than the other..

yes! duh! Trust me they never change. the cheaters are the worst they think having one girl is lame. Just please dont date cheaters, your really be glad later in life if you just follow my advice
I don’t know anyone who has only cheated on a significant other one time, out of seven or eight that I can think of off the top of my head.

i think sometimes people change but a majority of the time cheaters stay cheaters..not in all cases though

I use to thing that, but now it varies and depends on the person and situation. I know that cheating is cheating, but I always believe that a relationship can survive one cheat, but after that then it should be demolish.
Well technically that statement is true. If you do something, you can’t take it back; it happened. So if someone cheated, they were a cheater at that moment, so once a cheater always a cheater so to speak. But if you’re asking will they always cheat if they did it once, not necessarily. Some people cheat because they were feeling neglected, some cheat because they like the attention too much; it’s different for every case. You should find out why that guy that’s currently in your life cheated, then come back and ask would you trust a guy to not cheat on you if he cheated on his last girlfriend for this reason.
Yes, I do believe that a leopard does not change it’s spots. I think a cheater tends to put their own wants and needs above everyone else. It’s a character tendency.
To some degree I agree. I’ve been cheated on, I ended those relationships because I don’t think I could ever completely trust them again. If he cheats on me, I end it with him. A relationship without trust is no relationship at all. Now, some people can forgive and trust, kudos to them.
I have also dated a guy who cheated on a girlfriend in the past. He ended up being a great boyfriend, we broke up, but not due to fidelity. The relationship he had with his ex was very different from the relationship I had with him.
People cheat for many reasons, I think it’s emblimatic of a greater problem in the relationship. Just because somebody has cheated in the past (I mean with somebody else) does not mean they will cheat on you

I believe it somewhat. I’ve seen many relationships where the guy cheats and cheats again, and sometimes the girls just put up with that. It’s sad. But I’ve also seen guys who will change for a girl. So I think it’s half-half and depends on the person.
i believe it usually is true but it wasn’t for me cause i cheated on my husband(son’s dad) and regretted it cause i think thats why aint together now
