For someone to make the statement that they would never stay after being cheated on, especially if you have a long history with a person and children, shows a lack of forethought of all the emotions and ramifications of a divorce, plus the immaturity to forgive. I’m not saying cheating is okay and should be summarily forgiven, but unless your dealing with a serial cheater, you must consider all the circumstances involved in why it happened, including what part the person being cheated on may have played. Every situation is different, but even if the person cheating was a complete scumbag, if you want to move on and heal you must forgive them even if you throw them out on their behind.
I said I would never stay but I did when it happened
I don’t know on average but I would not be taking them back.
Alot. Weak minded people
I think we all assume things…until they happen.
When I was younger, I assumed cheating was the worst thing a man could do. Life taught me differently.
I think people either resign themselves to it, or leave.
If you stay, it probably will happen again.
