Question by sokrates: Should the TV Show “Cheaters” Be Canceled for Disgusting Behavior?
The methods used on the show are disgusting and while “Cheaters” pretends to take the high road, the show really sensationalizes infidelity.

NO, the way i see it is that if you don’t like it then simply don’t watch it. The kind of things on the show actually do happen there’s nothing wrong with exposing the truth no ones forcing anyone to watch it.
I dislike the sensationalization of it, but part of the entire point to the show is to offer the viewers a chance to think BEFORE being unfaithful. If part of the thrill of cheating is the concept of not getting caught, then the fear of being exposed in public and on national television should hopefully be something of a deterrent.
I don’t say that it works, I just applaud the attempt.
I would like to see a bit more of the behind the scenes, though.

I never really understood the people that choose to go on this show – unless it is just a way to embarass their boyfriend/girlfriend. If you have so little trust that you need a tv show to follow them around to see if they’re cheating, you should probably break up with them anyway.
Having said that, if people choose to watch that, let them. It doesn’t bother me any.
And I see what your saying about them sensationalizing and trying to look moral themselves. But a lot of tv shows do this. Dr. Phil comes to mind immediately…or for that matter most talk shows, court shows,etc.
I think someone should beat the host DOWN!
The show should be canceled for being garbage. I would rather not watch anything than this show. The part that gets me the most is…. shows like this ignorant one keep going and going and going, but decent shows have a hard time staying on the air. Cancel this show, and improve television as a whole
