Why? Are you the booty call and you’re hoping for more?
If they have a mistress at all, they don’t really love either one. That’s obvious. If he loved the mistress, why would he still be with the wife he didn’t love? If they really loved the wife, why would he cheat on her?

They probably love the wife but something isn’t right with the relationship… the mistress is either a qucik fix or just fun

the moment the guy steps out of the relationship for someone else is the moment he is putting his love and feelings for them above who is with him. When a guy says he loves his wife/gf over the other women, its a flat out lie unless he is willing to leave and be faithful to just his wife/gf.
as for the when it becomes more then just sex… usually when he sneaks out of dates with his partner, stays “late” at the office and so forth.

The man who has two women is generally lying to both (to keep them), and only loves himself. Not willing to offer either exclusivity, or fidelity. To me that is the long and the short of it.
I dont believe they can claim to love the wife. If you love someone, you DONT cheat or betray or hurt that person. Cheating means you DONT love your partner, no matter what you tell them or yourself.
The wife knows that its more than just sex with the mistress, when the husband wont let the mistress go. Or leaves the wife for the mistress. Which DOES happen.
Love the mistress? Well that may depend on how long they have been together and how close their relationshiop has become. Yes, he can love the mistress, and thats why some cheating husbands DO leave the wife, to be with the mistress.
For sure he doesn’t love his wife or he would have never been unfaithful and possibly not even the mistress.
People cheat for different reasons! I think some relationships of marriage or gf/bf are lacking everything that is needed to keep that relationship in tact. There are two sides to every relationship. The cheater is most often times the one who is obviously doing wrong, but that doesn’t mean that the non-cheater is doing everything that is right, either! In order for any relationship to work and be monogomous, both partners have to work together, both must want it to be that way as well.
Truly, it is my belief that people in general are not monogomous creatures. We really aren’t. Yes we have a culture that tells us we should stay with one partner for the remainder of our lives, but how many people do you know actually have been able to accomplish this that are not let us say over 70 years old.
Back then, people stayed together because they didn’t have transportation. They had their farms and such and pretty much didn’t go out until Sunday and that was to church. They worked so hard they didn’t have time for that booty call.
Times have changed! And here we are expecting the same sort of relationships – why? Because it is the right thing to do! No matter how impractical – it is the right thing to do!
You know, I’m writing this and I am laughing – I am half serious and I am half joking around because when you come right down to it – I realize this is the truth even if some of you may not like it, and of course this makes me laugh also!

he doesn’t love either woman unless he leaves his wife for her. the wife would just have to follow her intuition/gut feeling and be observant and she would know something had changed drastically because when a man is cheating there are all kinds of signs. she would be able to see it in the way he responded to her and how he treated her.
Cheaters don’t love anyone but themselves. That’s what enables them to walk all over other people’s feelings as long as they are getting their rocks off.
the wife must act as a mistress and the mistress must act as a wife. so the real answer is neither.a man must be loyal to his wife.if there is another woman it means that he is playing a very dangerous game.

If fairness to your wife you should discuss the sex side of your marriage and maybe suggest a few things that you could do with her. (obviously not telling her that you are doing it with someone else) .
You might really be surprised to find your wife would be more than interested in the things you suggest, maybe she might think your lovemaking is boring, and be only too pleased to think you want to liven it up, ever thought of that ? (I doubt it being male).
Not all wives are boring drudges,at least given the chance.
If not, do her a favour and get a divorce, and let her find someone worthy of her.
