Would you sue your husbands mistress?

Asked by admin on June 1st, 2010 Listed in: Cheaters

If your husband cheated on you, would you sue the mistress? Legally, you can in some states, and I know I would and if I could sue him I would sue him too. I just think cheating should be against the law anyway, but thats just my opinion. :)
my husband didnt cheat on me :) I was just curious :) I just think its a good way to keep women from sleeping with married men :)

  1. Waste of time on sueing a mistress. It all depends on the reason he/she cheatted on you.

  2. No, I think that is ridiculous.

  3. Well…if you could, would you? What do you have to gain, except bringing back all that pain and suffering?

She doesn’t give a shit about you, otherwise she would not have been screwing a married man!. Just remember they always get what they deserve AND karma is a bitch!

  4. na

  5. Probably not. Most men that cheat do not tell the mistress that they are married. He is the one cheating. I would, however, take HIM for everything I could get out of him!!!! She probably would not want him after he is broke anyway, so you punish him that way too!!!

  6. I agree with u, it might make people take it more seriously before they reck lives and lifestyles/friends/jobs/ security etc. and KIDS childhood!!! I think it would be good to have it a law. Then people would just be honest and break up if they hate each other rather than betrail. Honesty is best i guess

  7. I would not sue the mistress. She would not be the one cheating on me.

  8. The only way I would sue them is if they gave me HIV or something. Then I wouldnt really sue them I would press charges for attempted murder.

  9. What??? He cheated on you with a he? LOL. Go sue the whole world. That’s the way lazy people live now in days. It’s free money anyways right? Then go get your free money. Besides think about this. Is he the only one. Do you think there is women in the picture? How many people did he cheated on you with? I hope the judge is not part of it cause then you will lose!!! LOL. I hope your husband doesn’t respond that you have to sue your own sister. LOL.

  10. You know what I think sweety if you can and is going to make you feel better then go for it they deserve it anyways for cheating on you

  11. I will sue the husband instead of the mistress. It’s the husband who did not fulfil his vow to his wife. He’s the one at fault.

  12. she didnt lie to you, cheat on you, break any promises to you. HE did that. why not deal with him and leave her alone. more than likely she is hurt to… all thanks to YOUR husband.

  13. Takes two to tango, your husband is at fault just as much as she is, unless he lied to her and said he wasn’t married. Either way, what are you waiting for, start looking for a divorce attorney and let the bum go live with his mistress. You can sue your husband…. for divorce! Allimony. Child support too if you have children. Start looking tomorrow!

  14. i would, but seems to be a waste of time but just to see her face getting served will make it all worth it!!!!!

    hehehehehehe

  15. i never sued anyone but if i could i would, i don’t care about money, i’d probably give it to charity, but i would do it IF she knew he was married.

  16. I don’t think a wife should sue her husbands mistress. I think the wife should just dump the husband and move on.

  17. Adultery is against the law= a felony I believe.

  18. yes you sure can, its called alienation of affection! In some states, but unless she has means, why bother? Really depends on how this went down. If she caused you to be deprived of your martial relations, then it could be possible, and in the USA you can sue for just about anything!

  19. well it takes two to tangle so you best sue your hubby as well!!!!! also what made the hubby go out anyways( not saying you) ,,, answer! either it’s attention or sexual pleasure is the first thing that guys think abt!

  20. so another law is this so you don’t have to worry about NOT fulfilling your obligation and so you can be a lousy wife or spouse and not have to worry that your man will find someone else to do what you should be doing. You should be giving some advice since it sounds like you have a good husband and marriage and you didn’t need any laws, soooooooooooo do you get my point it doesn’t take a law to not have your spouse cheat.

  21. My personal opinion is that it would only make you look extremely bitter and it really isn’t her fault that he cheated it is his fault that he cheated.

  22. If a law like that were passed it would take years to get a court date because half the world would be waiting for one.Because then a list of laws would have to be written on what constitutes cheating? They would have to close down escort services, massage parlors, strip clubs and take out legal prostitution in Las Vegas. Many high up people would not accept this because many up there with legal power probably use these services and would not let it happen.

  23. i was sued. i didn’t consider it as sleeping with a married man because they were seperated and i knew their marriage was over. don’t you think it takes two? shouldn’t men also be sued for cheating? the woman who sued me lost big time. she had found a different reason to sue me and kept accusing me of sleeping with her husband in a civil suit that had nothing to do with what she had accused me of. it was her sick way of getting even. he ended up divorcing her anyway mostly because of her immature and psychotic way of dealing with what she called “cheating” on her. if you want your husband not to cheat on you, don’t marry the cheating kind to begin with but if you do, act like a lady and don’t react like a 5 year old. dont bother confronting the other woman. it only makes you look desperate and makes matter worse. get your husband to love u more and appreciate you. if he still doesn’t then just leave and take what’s yours. be fair and be kind. the woman who sued me lost all respect even from her attorney and the judge. he ruled that she was malicious and slanderous. according to the judge “even if i had slept with her husband, she had no right to sue me” it really didn’t make her life better, it actually made her miserable.

  24. Its not going to keep people from cheating. When they are about to cheat you think they stop and think…I might get sued…Unless they got sued that very min….THEY WILL CHEAT

I would sue the mistress….She will have to deal with her own issues later on……I would however hit my husband and might get the cops called me because i would probaly hurt him.

  25. Yes!!!! Inaheart beat……….Why should they get all the fun..

  26. No. Call me old fashioned but I would divorce my husband and behave with dignity.
