okay this is how it goes..he left the 28th from iraq got to kuwait had to wait an extra day cause his name was left off the manifest, he has been calling her everyday for the past week saying he is in germany and they have had plane problems since they left kuwait i have been talking with our sgt and he is now saying that kuwait dont have anything saying her husband has ever been to kuwait
If he says he is in Germany, then who cares about Kuwait? People often get on planes at the last minute and the paperwork is not 100% accurate. He needs to catch a flight from Germany to the USA.
thats because he wasn’t on the manifest in Kuwait so they couldn’t track him, you just answered your own question. Why is he in Germany so long is the question….

There are some many variables. Like are they having plane problems, is he missing manifests on purpose, is his unit being delayed due to weather or getting bumped, are those two have martial issues. I wouldn’t get to invivled unless it is your husband your asking about and you are saying this is for a friend. We get a lot of post like this here and I work in JAG and see alot of this.
Things will work work and he is NOT in Iraq so that is the biggest headache. Every deployment, I’ve been on, three of them I was stationed IN Germany and it took a long time just to get just there from wherever over the years. lol.
Tell her to have patience and talk to the FRG of his unit! What SGT are you talking and what’s your relationship? Are you in the military too or a spouse or just a friend?
Good luck with this, but it could be something simple.
i know atleast 15 people that have been to Iraq and across seas and they said it takes 10x as long to get back home then to actually get there because of the paperwork and b.s that seems to always occur when its time to leave if he’s in Germany he’s def. on his way back home or the Sgt would have said it was an AWOL situation just wait it out i heard Germany a nice ass place so i wouldn’t worry it will get resolved just not as fast as planned you know?
im sure he is in debrief. usually go see the pscho doctor for a week. make sure he is mentally stable. different view coming back ..gotta make sure he can handle it. believe me..ive been there
