My daughter is needing her 6 month shots right at the time he is gone. Do I wait a couple days to go down to our nearest base to sign up for my ID card? How does that work?

you cannot get your ID card until he sends you the packet with all the paperwork..and that can take a month.
He’ll send you paperwork int he mail that you then have to take to your closest military base to get your ID. You have to wait for the packet. It take about 4 weeks to get it in the mail. During his first week at Basic, he’ll do all the aperwork for your enrollment. Just hang on…believe me, waiting another month for her shots isn’t going to do anything.
I dont know about getting your id card but before you subject your child to shots… you may want to check out factual info on them and possibly speaking to a medical doctor who has healthier and safer ideas on that topic…
take her to a vet, that would be so cool cuz your husband is gonna be a vet when hes outta the army too.
