I didn’t do anything wrong… I just didn’t give him all of the attention in the world and praise him for stuff because he really wasn’t that nice to me
why did does he do this?

He may be calling you names like that to try and impress his new friend.

Since the dream, I’m recalling many events I felt had no significance, such as a time at a concert we had all went to where Mike’s wife was staring at me while he was away, the way she used to dress whenever I was around, laying on top of Mike when he’s on the floor playing with their 1 year old twins telling him “You know you want it” loud enough for me to hear, & moments where she’ll speak to me in a sweet, innocent tone or pat me on the head while she walks by, & with that in mind, I’m growing very paranoid & afraid. I cannot tell Mike this, as I know he will sever all ties with me. And I’m going to have to do away with pride for a moment…part of me enjoys the thought of her being attracted to me, even if it is me making a big deal out of nothing. I’m almost 20, & I’m still a virgin, & this whole thing is affecting me badly. I still want to find true love someday, & I’d never betray my friend like that. I also feel the need to say I never once found her attractive in my ENTIRE time knowing them. Half the time when she did these things, I left the room. But thinking all this is making me look at her differently. It’s sick & wrong. I know this to be the truth, and yet I can’t accept it. My immediate solution has been to stop spending the night at their house. Mike continues to call me, asking why I’ve stopped coming over, & every time we talk I feel a cold sense of guilt wash over me. I’ve done nothing wrong. Hardly even a month ago, I had another dream, but this dream went a bit further, with her coming into my room & taking off her bra in front of me (I had the dream at Mike’s house). But a big difference in that dream was that I vividly recall telling her “I guarantee you that this will not happen as long as I have anything to say about it”, & I woke up in a cold sweat.

I’m compelled to ask this because under 5 hours ago, I went to Mike’s house, & when I arrived, it was his wife at the door with Mike’s sister (Mike had left to run an errand across town, which I didn’t know). Before I could even walk in, Mike’s wife exclaimed my name & said now that I had showed up, it was a perfect day. Mike’s sister looked up at her & asked her why in the world it was a perfect day since I was there, & Mike’s wife said “just because everybody else has been here today to visit, & now having him here will be good for Mike”. After she said that, both me & Mike’s sister looked at each other suggesting the same expression (“is she serious with this?”), & since I looked at Mike’s sister like that, she didn’t ask any questions & left. But considering Mike was gone at the time, I decided to give an excuse to leave, & I left to drive for a while to make sure I wasn’t in the house until Mike came back (which I am REALLY proud of, as I know I did the right thing, but as soon as I got home, I had these horrible feelings. It’s as if she’s trying to make me feel wanted because she knows that’s what I need right now since I’ve been lonely lately, which I’m beginning to feel is very emotionally manipulative of her. But I’m still confused & can’t find a way to rid myself of these feelings).

I need to know why I’m feeling the guilt, especially when considering I’ve done nothing wrong, & how I can stop feeling this way when CLEARLY I’ve shown the will & fortitude to be able to avoid her. Once more, I CAN’T tell Mike about this. Regardless of what the truth is, he would take it as though I’m attracted to her & I’m trying to get with her, & he wouldn’t see that I’m showing concern over his wife’s inappropriate actions & he’d force me out of his life, & I think this time it could be permanent. Telling him is not a viable solution. I also thought of dropping hints of my own, using some other friends in the same situation I find myself in as an example, to secretly tell Mike’s wife how terrible I think

i’m so sorry. you’re between a rock and a hard place: jeopardizing a great friendship or ruining a marriage. i admire your fortitude. the best thing you can do, if you’ve ruled out telling him about his wife’s behavior, is to say, ‘look, man, you know i love you like a brother and all, but i’m going through a rough time and i need to just get away from everyone for a while, focus on my work [or whatever], and get my mind right.”

HOWEVER, are you 5ure his wife isn’t just a slut across the board? her behavior does sound manipulative, but it also sounds desperate…she must be really unhappy herself, if she’s willing to risk her marriage like that. OR she could just be a slut. hard to say. either way, i can’t think of a good way to tell Mike…the best thing you can do is to continue to tactfully avoid them.

Basically I was dating this guy, We broke up, and agreed to be friends. Now it gets interesting, three days after us breaking up, he hooked up with his ex girlfriend. He always said he regretted dating her, and that she was ugly and such. But that didn’t stop him from doing it again. So he “went out” with her for like less than 24 hours.

Then the guy and I agreed to be really good friends. The night that the hooking up took place. And me, him, and the girl he hooked up with talked for hours that night.

Next problem: the hook up girl and I are friends.

Big Problem: I’m dating the guy again, one week after we broke up, four days after the hook up. He told me about he hook up when I asked, and said he only did it because he hurt to much and wanted to stop the pain. He also said she was just like a whore.. “did whatever and left”..

BUT

The night we all talked, me and him talked for awhile alone, and i asked what he wanted me to do with his ring(he gave me a ring of his) and he said..”just give it to [the girl he hooked up with]” but he quickly changed his mind when he saw it made me upset.

Last thing! lol. Him and this girl made an agreement to try to go out again at the beginning of the school year, that’s not happening anymore.

He still texts this girl, and talks to her. Should I be suspicious? Should I continue being friends with her? What would you do in this situation?
lol. I know it’s confusing! Think of how I feel.

One of my fiance’s friends from out of state called him up and asked him if he could please stay at our house for a month with his girlfriend so that he can find a job and they can relocate. I agreed trying to be nice and because I know my fiance really wanted to help them out. So they have been here 1 week and 2 days and I am already OVER THEM. I have 2 small children (4yo & 11.5month old) and the 1st day they were here they slept, which I understood because they drove all night long. The 2nd day they were here they had a HUGE fight! Were throwing things at eachother, and screaming! She ran him over with her car! & scratched him to the point of bleeding! THEN, she came inside and smacked him (EXTREMELY hard) right in the face right infront of my children! I snapped on both of them for that. She left, had her mom wire her money and was on her way back to where she came from. But instead, he called her up and now they are all smoochiepoochie BS again. BUT, she did get the money. So they haven’t offered not a dime to help out. They brought a couple groceries with them, but that has been gone for a while. And was just like ham, ravioli’s, bread, soda & oranges. Not dinner foods which is what is expensive. They have not made an attempt to find a job other than maybe checking careerbuilder online. Not left the house. Finally on Sunday I talked to the boyfriend. Mainly because I had to go run an errand and when I left the house HE left the house as well and left his EXTREMELY drunk girlfriend here alone with MY fiance & my son. Which I was VERY uncomfortable with due to the fact that she has cheated on him over 7 times in less than a year. (yes, real winners we got here). Anyway. So I explained to him the food situation and how we are having enough problems trying to support us and our 2 kids. And the electricity bill which is already over 0 (we live in Florida, the heat is ridiculous!) and how they run the dishwasher, washing machine, leave tv’s on, fans, lights everything on constantly! And he said he understood and that he was going to try to get his dad to wire him some money. (remember: they have money from her mom, and NEVER offered it) and that the most would probably be 0. I’m thinking that’s ALL. That is like NOTHING! But whatever, I’ll take what I can get right now…IF IT EVER EVEN HAPPENS. Meanwhile, still no real attempt to find a job. Finally I printed him up a map yesterday to go find a job. He called me (i was out the whole day running errands) and he said “i have an interview tomorrow!” I Said “GREAT!” and then asked him where he was and he told me “at the gas station” I said “i said in ******” which is the area I printed up the map for. And he said “yeah there!” Well, as soon as I hung up the phone I called my mom (who lives next door) and as we are talking she said “umm…wasn’t ur friend looking for a job?” I said “yeah!” she said “umm…well, he’s pulling up to ur house now…and he JUST left.” The guy NEVER LEFT THE HOUSE OTHER THAN TO RUN TO THE GAS STATION TO GET CIGARETTES! i was FURIOUS. I told my fiance I had had it. And he said just give them a lil more time. Well now this morning I wake up and after explaining to them on a DAILY BASIS that my pet peeve is waking up to dirty dishes in the sink, I continuosly find a sink of dishes when I wake up every morning at 6:00am while they are STILL sleeping on my couch. And then they run a fan on them all night long and spend MORE electricity! So this morning I turned the fan off. He proceeded to huff and puff into the bathroom. Lay back down, and turn it BACK on. So I turned it off AGAIN. And he jumps up with a huge attitude and says “I NEED SOMETHING BLOWING ON ME TO SLEEP!” I said “IT’S FREEZING IN THIS HOUSE & YOU ARE WASTING ELECTRICITY!” so he goes outside, smokes a cigarette, slamming doors, wakes up my daughter, I can see my son getting woken up on the baby monitor every time. And then when I go back into my room, he goes and turns on the fan AGAIN. I called my fiance and he says that when he gets home he is going to take the fan, disconnect the television & video games cause he is sick of leaving to work every morning at 6:30am while they sleep, and coming home everyday at 5:00pm after working in the heat to see them sitting on the couch in the AC playing video games all day. Oh yeah, so I went back and turned off the fan AGAIN, and now they are up stomping through the house, slamming doors…oh my goodness. I am trying soooo hard not to be rude because this is my fiance’s bestfriend and I dont want to start problems, but it IS my house! How can we get them out without having to be straight RUDE?
PS: Sorry this is so long I didn’t know how to write out the short version cause it is just so frustrating.

[Bit of background info...i am male 22 yrs old, everyone considers me "hot/attractive", I study at uni full time (usually all day every day during the week, then do some casual work all day on Saturday and all day Sunday)....YES my life is completely loaded hahahah, not much time for anything. So i sometimes am too tired so stay home.]

My friends, usually just certain ones, have said to me things like “pfft…have you EVEN been out since your boyfriend left????” (my bf left 3 months ago to go home, we are on a long distance relationship)

And one of my girl friends knows these 2 other friends I have and she knows that i havent been out with them in quite a while…so she was today like “have you even been going out lately”……and i asked her why she thought that and she said that because I havent been going out with these other 2 people (she might think they are my only other friends I dunno :s)

Most of my friends think i sorta might make up excuses not to go out quite a bit, but cmon that’s understandable cause of how busy I am!!!

I mean ………what is wrong with people????? Do people really have a problem with me not going out that much??? And i swear they talk about it too…i remember another person was thinking I only had 1 friend because I happened to mention that I went shopping with this “1 friend” a couple of times….

Are they bitter that I’m not going out with THEM??? Why do these friends have so many problems with me like this…

There us nothing wrong with not going out when you don’t feel like it.
How selfish that they don’t care about you. Like your going have fun if they force you to do something you don’t want to. Call the shots with your life so ppl know your in control not them. You show ppl how to treat u by the way u react

Question by sackley7388: Do you have any friends who have a certain “Thing” they’ve done with their infant that makes you angry?
My husbands wife has 2 kids. She was young with her first 18, and then had her second at 22. We didn’t know her when she ahd the first but her second is 2 months younger then our daughter. I am due in 2 weeks with # 2 and at our daughters dance class the other day some of the moms were talking about our different parenting techniques ect cause the one mom’s 2 YO is like out of control and she wanted some help. Anyway we were talking about their sleeping habbit and my husbands friends wife started talking about when ehr second was an infant how she’s been sleeping through the night since 3 weeks old. At first I thought she was super lucky, until she kept talking. She started letting her daughter “cry it out” at 3 weeks! Our daughter was good about sleeping but at about 7 months there were 3-4 days where we knew she was fine and tired and just wanted to be in our bed rather then her crib and let her cry. We never “left” her to cry for long 5-10 mins tops at a time and never if something seemed “wrong”. I just can’t imagine leaving my 3 week old baby in their crib in another room to cry all night so I could get some sleep. At 3 weeks that baby was hungry or may have pooped or just literally NEEDED to be held. Even the creators of the CIO say not to start before 6 months because before then a baby crys only out of NEED not out of WANT. What makes it worse for me to listen to is how selfish she is about it. She flat out says “I needed my sleep so she cried”. Like HELLO you knew when you TRIED to have another baby they would wake up at night and need you ALOT! I seriously have lost almost all respect for this woman because of it. I know it is her decision as a mother and I didn’t say anything to her ect. But I have to see her at their dance class again tomorrow and honestly I really don’t want to. It was now 2 years ago but it makes me angry for her daughter. For a 3 week old that must have been so traumatizing. Has anyone you’ve been friends with done something in raising their infant that completely turned you off to them as a person, even if it isn’t your “place”?
