ASL Interpret music – Song about children growing up quickly

Asked by admin on September 18th, 2010 Listed in: Wife Left

I was a single father. My first wife left when my daughter was a 3-MONTH old infant, and I raised her alone until remarrying during her teenage years. This song is about how fast the days turn into years and time flies so quickly as our small children grow up right before our eyes. It has meaning to every parent, but I think especially to those parents who carried the burdens, and savored the joys, of loving their children and raising them alone.

  1. Lovingly done in the sign language and heartfelt. I was born in the mid 70′s and those young years certainly flew by. All of my generation grew up so fast. We are in our 30′s now . My nephew is nearly 6 and is growing up fast himself.

  2. Hello good job

  3. Great linguistics. Just wish there were more facial expressions.

  4. Wow this is so beautiful!!! I am sending this awesome rendition to my brother (a previously single dad who raised 2 daughters) one Deaf one Hearing. Thanks for posting this!

  5. Having a dad like this… yes I do sign. =) Though definitely not as good! And I agree with you… I AM very lucky. My dad is amazing.

  6. Your daughter must be so lucky – does she sign, too?
