   Call your mom and ask her for help, after all she did it with you, I am not kidding about that one, you need the support at this time. Remember, as long as you don’t shake or drop the kid, you won’t hurt him. Then start to build a network of friends and family, even the church will help. If you want to retain full custody, get a lawyer asap as well.

   Hire a baby sitter or you don’t go to work as a newborn requires 24/7 attention.

   Make sure you have lots of formula and diapers on hand. When the baby cries try these three things
   1-change the diaper
   2-give the baby a bottle
   3-hold and talk to the baby
   4- sorry 4 things rock the baby to sleep
   5-give the baby a binkie

   Seek advice from trusted and/or trustworthy people like your folks, a respected older person, a clergy or preist, a socail worker.. not idiots like me on some chat or question forum.
   I’m sad that your wife has left, and that she has left the child also. I hope that she is ok, and hope you can forgive her if only for your own sake.
   Be good to your child, be a good Father…

   take care of him! duh! why is you men want these kids but want the women to do all of the work? what makes you think your wife has all the answers she’s just as new to this as you are. when the child cries pick him up, caress the child, sing to the child, bounce the child they like movment. make sure you change the child, don’t think it is gross think of it as a privaledge, someone had to wipe you to, feed the child, I’m pretty sure your wife left you with instructions. See this is why i believe men are the lesser sex, you’re thrown into a situation that is not considered “manly” and freak out when we as women are expected to adapt to any situation (single moms). when in doubt call your mother!

   Find the mother, use a detective if necessary. She could be suffering from depression. A lot of mothers with newborn babies suffer depression. Try to talk with the mother or get someone to talk to the mother and get her to a therapist or at least her present doctor for some help.
   Also, get help with the baby from a family member and get yourself into therapy for some good professional advice. I know this is really heartbreaking on you and feel free to ask any other questions. I am a mother and grand-mother. God bless.

    If she can leave her baby forever than fu** her. You guys will be better off-I hope, unless you care about HER more than that baby,which it kinda sounds like to me.YOU NEED HELP-THAT POOR LITTLE BABY.

    take care of it love it and be with it in the goods and bads he would always remeber the good thing u guys done together. u would be a good pearent. or merry someone that love u and ur kid.that would treat ur kid with love and be like it real mother. that would win his love
