Question by anonymous: My wife has run away, and I think it’s because of my exgirlfriend?
For the last few days, my wife has been being wonderful at home, but then an asshole around my friends. 2 friends visited me in Cambodia recently, one OLD American man (American like me, but a friend my father’s age) and the other a Filipina. The Filipina is actually my ex-girlfriend, but there hasn’t been anything between us for years. Every time my friends would invite my lady and I to join them for lunch or something, my wife would turn into a scowling, snarling, hate-glaring *****! I asked her why she was acting like this many times, but she always just told me “I don’t know”, or “I’m tired”, or “Nothing”….. dead-end brick walls every time I asked! How am I supposed to stop doing something if she won’t tell me what’s bothering her?
NOW she’s left me! She told me she was tired and wanted to stay home, then stole my bicycle and ran off to my Dad’s house! Ran off 4 days ago, hasn’t spoken to me since, and never told me what was bothering her so much. I’m completely lost, since I wanted to solve the problem from the very beginning…. I can’t solve anything though if I don’t know what’s wrong!
As for hanging around my ex with my wife, my ex and my friend traveled to Cambodia on vacation alone. My Dad and I were the only people they know in this country, and my Dad has been too busy getting his new restaurant ready for grand opening. Do you think it would have been better hanging around my ex WITHOUT my wife?! At least with my wife around, she can keep an eye on me. I tried to show my love to my wife in every way possible, hugging my wife, kissing her, and telling her I love her: anything to boost her confidence in my loyalty to her….. but it didn’t seem to help.

would YOU want to go to dinner with your wife’s ex boyfriend & sit there & talk & be friends with a guy who use to nail her good on the bed & bend her over in all positions!??? use your brain man!

The 1 answer I saw you got is very good! Let me tell you a true story from my own experience. NOBODY can get a woman screwed up in her thinking like another woman. My wife is deceased now, but 15 years ago I was working as a mechanic at a shop that was being run by a woman. I had no idea that my boss wanted me. After 3 months of working there my wife left me without a word and moved to her daughter’s house 70 miles away. I finally got her to speak to me. Then all was revealed. While I was at work my boss would call my wife and just have friendly conversation with her. My boss was a fairly young woman so my wife was not suspicious when she called one day complaining she was sick and asking my wife what she thought it might be. She was describing symptoms of morning sickness. That and the fact that she always spoke admiringly about me caused the ignition in my wife. As soon as I found that out I quit that job with no notice. It was 3 months before I got my wife back. TALK to your wife! ASK what happened! In the mean time break off your relationship with your ex girlfriend and HOPE that your wife can find that out without YOU making it happen. I bet your ex girlfriend did something very sneaky that your wife didn’t see coming. SOMEHOW how your affection shown to your wife has very cleverly been portrayed as “pretense”.
