Question by Rob: My wife left me almost two months ago and told me she loves me but not in love with me?
Ok I am 27 Years old and have been married to my wife for 4 years and togeather almost 10.About a year ago she admitted to me that she had an affair and said it was ended. She later told me that the affair continued for almost another year and that she regreted ever meeting this guy and just wanted to forget about him. Almost two months ago she left me because she said she loves me but is not in love with me. She said she needs time to think about if she wants to come home or not, but when I ask her if she has been thinking about the situation she just tells me “no not really”.She is hanging around, texting, and messageing a guy friend that she said helped her get over the man she had an affiar with.When I ask her about him she tells me he is just a friend that she likes to talk to. She tells me she doesn’t want a divorce but doesn’t want to be with me either she just needs her own space. And when I asked her if she thought she might ever start a relationship with this new guy friend she told me maybe someday but not right now. I keep asking her to come home but she tells me she is happier where she is and that she needs more time to think. We have a daughter together that is absoulutely devistated over this situation. I just need to know if I am wasting my time trying to work things out with her, or since she says she doesn’t want the divorce is she really thinking about coming back or just buying time?

I smell bull feces.I wonder how you’ve gotten so overly smart. Voluptuous, yet poisonous drama… How is it possible to recognize the deceit and swim in it as if the heat of the water comforts you for the time being? What’s that smell? Who in the name of every devil; gets cheated on by someone who claims to “love” the other as they romance the next; topping things off, and get away w/ “oh but I need space”? Perhaps some dignity in your Ivy? Is that a chump? What guy on earth w/ rationality gets off; thru his “Gal Pal” texting another sperm donor? Incapable of the thought of a thinking cap sport?

I say move on. You deserve better. I think she is using you and buying time. Seem like she want it both way or do not know what she really want. I suggest that until she really really knows what she want, you stay away from her. It not worth all the pain and headache their are other fish in the sea.
