Question by anonymous: My wife ran away, though I’m not sure why…?
For the last few days, my wife has been being wonderful at home, but then an asshole around my friends. 2 friends visited me in Cambodia recently, one OLD American man (American like me, but a friend my father’s age) and the other a Filipina. The Filipina is actually my ex-girlfriend, but there hasn’t been anything between us for years. Every time my friends would invite my lady and I to join them for lunch or something, my wife would turn into a scowling, snarling, hate-glaring *****! I asked her why she was acting like this many times, but she always just told me “I don’t know”, or “I’m tired”, or “Nothing”….. dead-end brick walls every time I asked! How am I supposed to stop doing something if she won’t tell me what’s bothering her?

NOW she’s left me! She told me she was tired and wanted to stay home, then stole my bicycle and ran off to my Dad’s house! Ran off 4 days ago, hasn’t spoken to me since, and never told me what was bothering her so much. I’m completely lost, since I wanted to solve the problem from the very beginning…. I can’t solve anything though if I don’t know what’s wrong!

As for hanging around my ex with my wife, my ex and my friend traveled to Cambodia on vacation alone. My Dad and I were the only people they know in this country, and my Dad has been too busy getting his new restaurant ready for grand opening. Do you think it would have been better hanging around my ex WITHOUT my wife?! At least with my wife around, she can keep an eye on me. I tried to show my love to my wife in every way possible, hugging my wife, kissing her, and telling her I love her: anything to boost her confidence in my loyalty to her….. but it didn’t seem to help.
