my ex bf broke up with me a week ago.He says he can’t be with me and be a man( i.e. not cheat, )and needs to get his finances together since he droped out of college. He said he didnt want a “title” right now, and needs to be focused on getting his stuff together.
We went out for memorial day, and later that night we were intimate. He told me to remember this night whenever i feel i cant wait for him. he text me when i left “i love you and remember what i said”. so he knew what he was saying…
I told him maybe it shouldnt have happened because it’s confusing me since I want a “title”. he said his mistake, but he saw me as his girl at that moment. etc. he stressed that he doesnt want a relationship right now, and that i am the only female in his parents house, around his friends etc. and he loves me as his future wife.
DOES HE WANT ME TO WAIT FOREVER? should i just move on? i am SO confused!

The thing is it does sound like he wants you to wait forever! SCREW THAT! Move on you have a life to live and you need to make yourself happy, not wait around for some loser to come to his senses!

he is using you. i would move on. if you are the only girl having a title should not be hard. you said it in your question “be a man”. so you know the answer. there is a good chance he has something else…
That doesn’t sound right to me. If he loves you why isn’t he with you? You shouldn’t wait for him. If he comes back, that’s fine. But you should start going out with other people too. Life is too short to be waiting on someone who can’t make up their mind.
So basically he can’t be with you and NOT CHEAT? Is that what you said? Why would you stay with a cheater anyway? Yes, hon, he was using you for sex. He knew you would give it to him and you did. Its time for you to cut your losses and move on.
Its possible he just needs to improve upon himself before he feels adequate enough to be in a committed relationship.(ie. finacial reasons, belief system) Give him a set time that is comfortable to you so that you dont feel like your just waiting on hold and tell him. If your meant to be together you with both take into account each others feelings.
If you really love him and he really loves you, he wont cheat on you trying to get his life together. If he truly wants you as his future wife, he is getting his finances together for the two of you to be happy in the future. But since he can’t Be “a man” with a “title” he doesnt give a fuk about you. He just wants to be free with all the benefits of being a single, but it sounds like he still has feelings for you as he wants you to remember him and wait for him?? Thats not fair, why should you wait for him while he tried to decide if he really wants you? because thats what he is doing, if he really wanted you he would need you in his life while he gets the rest of his life together because remember? you were his life right? anyways… if he decides to go through with what he said, hunny hes not worth it, he doesnt value you as an irreplacable object in his life! otherwise he wouldnt risk his relationship with you over getting money!! I think you should rethink your life priorities, the one NOT INCLUDING HIM! and start thinking of ways to make yourself happy, not ways to make you both happy. Im telling you if he really loves you he will see his mistakes and at the same time, the time it takes him to realize his mistakes atleast your not sitting around waiting and moping around for him. You will be concerned about your life, making yourself happy and at the same time THINKING ABOUT WHAT KIND OF BOYFRIEND GIVES UP HIS GIRLFRIEND BECAUSE OF HIS OWN PERSONAL NEEDS! A SELFISH ONE!!!
