I doubt she can get any money, but she might get the custody of your kids if she proves she can afford them. Get a good lawyer.

Thanks for your service Sir, , I’m sorry to hear about what your wife did, man, women like dad shouldn’t be living in this wonderful nation, the thing that makes me even madder is the fact that the court is going to grant to your wife all the child custody rights.. and maybe she can even ask for spouse support.
You have the use of lawyers through the Military for free. I bet they have handled this situation before and you should use them now.
I am sorry to hear that she did that to you, but I am also dissapointed that everyone on here hears that you are a soldier, and all of a sudden, because you fight for your country then there must not be problems at home. I am sure she didn’t just up and leave for no reason.
It wasn’t right, but I am sure there was a reason.
Anyways, you should get a lawyer and they will tell you what to do, and what you are entitled to .

Sorry to hear about that. Something similar happened to one of my men in the Navy except that she left the kids and went back home (we were stationed in Japan). All I can tell you is what other people already have, get a good divorce lawyer, especially one that has experience dealing with military husbands/fathers. The bad part is that she will probably get full custody and child support because you’re subject to being away from home a lot. It really stinks and not a fate befitting of an American hero.
